Waihi Beach Community Shop was established in 2021. Our sole purpose is to support three local not-for-profit organisations providing services in our community.
Brought to you by a committee of 8 community groups, the Waihi Beach Op Shop is nestled in the center of the Waihi Beach Village.
Waihi Beach Library and Council Service Centre provides the community with access to council services, free public WiFi and entry into the wonderful world of books.
A local Justice of the Peace is available at the Waihi Beach Library on Tuesdays from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Other Justice of the Peace services are available by appointment.
The Community Connector service is here to help you navigate your way through any challenging situations that life throws your way.
Mainly Meals offers free homemade freezer meals for people who need a helping hand when unexpected or new life situations occur.
The Community Ministries centre in Waihi provides individuals and families with food parcels, budgeting advice, life skills and parenting courses, social work, youth development, and transitional housing.
Vincentians work to provide person to person, practical and effective help to those in need; sharing their burdens and joys; sowing seeds of hope, and promoting human dignity, justice, and self sufficiency.
